We always aim to be environmental friendly as possible and many of our notebooks as made from recycled materials. Any unused paper/cards all scrap pieces that are trimmed and unused are all recycled. We also support local charities and other good causes through donations of one sort or another.

So what have we done in 2022?
Cats Protection Charity
This December we have donated 50 A6 notebooks to a local Cats Protection Charity for them to sell at their Christmas Fayre to raise much needed funds.
Local Nursing Homes
Through out November and December we have donated over 100 A6 notebooks to two nursing homes for them to sell at their respective Christmas Fayres to raise money to buy Christmas Presents for residents with no families.
Charity Run
At the start of the year we started to train for the famous Great North Run which we have completed before, but things did not turn out as planned, with a broken foot, Covid 19 and seven weeks in plaster with a broken wrist, it was not be be. But next year we will be there for a charity that us personally.
Finally.

I have always had a love for books and how they can hold a special place in my heart. So, from reading them, to making them as a hobby, was a simple step and from there I discovered a new love.
The very earliest books were all hand made, using a quill and parchment, elegantly decorated in colour using ink, and were only affordable my the wealthy.
Not all books are for reading, others are to capture and create memories, used for shopping lists, journals, dairy's the list is endless, and that is where Bay Bindery comes in. Being a small cottage business producing great designs for anyone budget, each notebook is unique.
Starting as a hobby making books for myself, I now make them for everyone to enjoy.
Remember, when you buy from a small cottage business, instead of a large cooperation, an actual person does a little dance :-)
